Trailer "Grief Growing Girls - The Next Generation" (Netflix)

Bob Sagat's family issued a press release in the United States, revealing what led to his death.

"In the weeks that have passed since Bob's death, we have been overwhelmed by the incredible outburst of love from his fans, which has been a great comfort to us and for which we are forever grateful," they wrote.

"Now that we have the final conclusions from the authorities' investigation, we felt it was only fitting that the fans should hear these conclusions directly from us. The authorities determined that Bob was suffering from a head trauma. "Drugs or alcohol are involved."

"As we continue to mourn together," they added, "we ask everyone to remember the love and laughter that Bob brought to this world, and the lessons he taught us all: to be kind to everyone, to let people you love know you love them, and to face difficult times through hugs and laughter. ".

On Jan. 9, Sagitt was found dead in a hotel room in Orlando, and even then local police ruled out suspicion of drugs, alcohol or crime.

Sagat left behind his current partner and three daughters from his previous partner.

He was best known for his role as the pain of the family Danny Tanner in the series "Grief Growing Up Girls", and also appeared five years ago in her sequel series, "Grief Growing Up Girls - The Next Generation".

In addition, he had a variety of other roles.

Among other things, he hosted the popular show "America's Funniest Home Videos" from the late 1980s to the late 1990s and dubbed the future Ted Mosby in "How I Met Your Mother."

In 1998, Sagat directed the film "Dirty Work," which starred, among others, comedian Norm McDonald, who passed away a few months ago.

In this film, as its name implies, the actor tarnishes the image that has been attached to him because of his role in a ticking series like "Growing Up Girls".

He has also done so in his stand-up shows and other roles, for example a guest appearance on the series "The Entourage", participation in the rough docu "The Aristocrats" and of course his Rust in Comedy Central.

Sagat was from a Jewish family, and participated in "The Good Cop," an American adaptation of an Israeli series of the same name.

Comedian Don Riklis even once described him as "Clark Kent the Jew."

Sagitt is considered one of the nicest people in American comedy and was especially loved.

Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen, the identical twins who together played one of his daughters in the series, declared: "He was the most loving and generous person. We are so sad that he is no longer with us, but know he will continue to be by our side and guide us in his grace, as he always did."

Candice Cameron, who played another daughter, tweeted: "He was one of the best people I have known in my life. I have no words."

John Stamos, who played his brother-in-law in the series, added: "I'm broken. I'm in utter shock. I'll never have a friend like him in my life. I love you so much Bobby."

Kat Dennings, who played his daughter in another and much less successful sitcom, "Raising Dad," wrote: "He was the most charming man and always protected me."
