With the Ferrari Purosangue, the first SUV from Maranello comes onto the market.

The first pictures have now appeared on social media.

Maranello – When you hear the name Ferrari, you think of beautiful, sleek and, above all, fast sports cars.

The Italians have not yet fallen for the SUV trend, unlike Lamborghini, Bentley, Rolls-Royce or Aston Martin, for example.

However, it was only a matter of time before Ferrari launched its first SUV.

After all, the sports car manufacturer from Maranello announced such a project three years ago.

But what the luxury SUV would look like was previously unclear, as the prototypes were always well camouflaged.

However, the first images of the Ferrari Purosangue have now surfaced on social media, showing the luxury SUV without camouflage.

The secretly taken pictures were probably taken in a workshop, as reported by 24auto.de.

Despite the poor image quality and the unfavorable angle, the shots give a good first impression of the Ferrari Purosangue.

(The Ferrari brand is losing popularity – is it the lack of an SUV?)

Visually, it is noticeable that the luxury SUV bears a certain resemblance to the Ferrari Roma.

In addition, the Purosangue appears at first glance to be significantly less beefy than the Lamborghini Urus.

The sloping roof line is strongly reminiscent of that of the GTC4Lusso Shooting Brake.

It is also noticeable that the grille - unlike other Ferrari models with front engines - is not mounted in line with the headlights, but sits a little further down.

Meanwhile, the black plastic panels on the wheel arches ensure a certain SUV look.

The rear also looks much more massive and is more reminiscent of an off-road car than a sports car.

The fact that this is a real Ferrari becomes clear at the latest when you look at the tailpipes: the Ferrari Purosangue has four of them.

However, it is still unclear what kind of engine is used in the luxury SUV.

But this question should also be clarified, because the presentation of the Ferrari Purosangue should take place later this year.

Production is also scheduled for 2022.

In the coming year, the luxury SUV will then be delivered to customers, as "Car & Driver" reports.

They can then look forward to a full-blooded Ferrari in SUV guise, because that's exactly what the name Purosangue promises.

However, the Ferrari SUV is not so well received on Instagram:

  • Thanks for ruining

  • The rear diffuser is reminiscent of a BMW M.

  • As I mentioned in the previous photo, perspective makes a big difference.

In the front picture it looks pretty low, here it looks very high.

Still, this heck is very SUV.

Great picture guys, you guys just keep getting better and better.

I didn't expect this car to be leaked after being so careful with the models and prototypes.

    Keep it up!
