Bloomberg economic magazine reports that for the first time in about two decades, Activision will not launch a new game in the Voice of Duty series next year (2023).
The decision, it was reported, stems mainly from the reason that Vanguard, the last game in the series to come out in late 2021, "did not live up to company expectations."
As a result, Activision, which will soon become a subsidiary of Microsoft, wants to recalculate a track and release a more invested game in 2024, and perhaps even give up the tradition of the war brand's regular annual edition altogether.
However, it's important to make clear that an entirely new unveiled voice-of-duty game (estimates are that this is another episode in the Modern Warfare sub-series) will hit stores towards the end of the current year, so there is still no need to get into the pressure.

Sony has finally revealed the final look of the PSVR2 glasses, the most important component in its new virtual reality system, which may hit stores later this year.
No doubt the design is based on the look of the PlayStation 5 console, but the extras that really steal the show are the four cameras located on the front of the glasses, which will serve as sensors.

Sony, which has refrained from committing to the launch date, announced that the new glasses will be "a little lighter" than the previous version, and they are even equipped with a ventilation opening aimed at reducing sweating and vapor accumulation in the forehead and eye area.

The new and talked-about action-role-playing game Elden Ring will finally launch tomorrow (25.2), and although we have yet to sit down properly, one thing is for sure: this is one of the most successful games of all time, and if we rely on OpenCritic - It's arguably the best game ever - without competition.
At the moment, the game stands at an average score of 97 and 100% positive reviews, out of a little over a hundred professional reviews that the site has combined.
This figure makes Elden Ring, at least statistically dry, a game with a consensus of the best positive reviews in the history of OpenCritic.
However, one must caveat and say that new reviews are added to the site frequently, so the data may change.
In any case, we probably have a leading contender here for the title of Game of the Year.

The Battle for the Logo:
Earlier this week, Capcom confirmed the existence of Street Fighter 6 - the sixth main episode in the iconic fighting games saga.
The company chose to reveal very little information about the game, and other than a simplistic logo and a short teaser video, we got nothing.
Although Kafkom has promised to provide more details in the summer, this is not the main story here.
It turns out that the generic logo of Street Fighter 6 is almost identical to a commercial stock image, which is offered for purchase on the Adobe website for $ 80.
The creator of the image claims that Kafkom used his graphic element without his knowledge, and therefore he demands compensation from it.
Also, other companies seem to have used the image in the past (or at least a very similar illustration), so this affair is just delusional.
After all, the chance that Kafkom has chosen a sparse and used logo for its new flagship game is very slim, so it is not impossible that it is a temporary work logo.
On the other hand, even the use of a temporary logo for the benefit of global exposure, and even without informing its creator, is an embarrassing move for one of the most respected gaming companies in the world.
True, there is always the possibility that this is a one-billion-dollar coincidence, but we are too cynical to believe it.
