Promoted all his regular messages.

The "interview" of comedian Zvika Hadar with Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, which was broadcast last night on Network 13, is an unfortunate mishap.

Not just because of the content, but because of the essence: the power of entertainment entered the role of the news system, and returned with propaganda.

All parts of this equation were affected by the result.

Zvika Hadar is a kind, amusing, not nasty character.

I have nothing against him, on the contrary.

Even comedians can actually interview excellently, especially public figures.

They are able to take political rhetoric to the absurd, and expose it nakedly - if they just want to.

This is the basis of good satire, the joke of the weak over the strong.

In any case, the court clown is the only one who can tell the king the truth without his head being beheaded.

Hadar does tell a lot of jokes throughout the interview and narration, but he did not want to do a satire on the prime minister on the broadcast "When Zvika met Bennett" - already this infantile name gets on the nerves.

In any case, as he often states - he is not a journalist, certainly not a political commentator.

The midpoint between the comic and the political has led to a remarkably mediocre result: a flattering show that well promotes all the prime minister's regular messages, saturated with recycled answers to childishly and confusingly worded questions - revealing the whole problem in the broadcast.

Here is one example, topical, transcribed, of Hadar's remarks.

"Look, this policy of saying she's sitting quietly, in the case of even of Ukraine, that they were very polite and accepted the United States as back - did not help them, gave up their nuclear deterrence. To be signed, could it be that the silence is not ... and that noise should be made instead? ".

There is nothing to go round and round: the subject is substantial, but behind this question there is a superficial, amateurish, unserious salad.

It's impossible to invent.

The genre of personal questions is not much better.

After an event with "German Chancellor, Angela Merkel Jr." at the Dan David Hotel, Hadar asks Bennett if he would not actually want to spend time at a hotel there.

He asks about the roles in the house from which he receives an "exemption" due to the role.

On the new secure life in the private home, he asks: "At home you walk around with a sweatshirt? With a Winnie the Pooh bear's doll? Do you have a moment when you are free? ... Do you have such an adidas, a sweatshirt with a snack shoe? Rabbits like that?".

I did not invent this quote.

It can not be invented.

It is important to say that this friendly attitude did not really succeed in achieving something that was not said in another press interview with Bennett.

The prime minister for his part answers what he always answers, calmly, without fear that someone will hit him with a really difficult question.

On the contrary, he gets all the right pictures and necessary compliments.

Documentation on the plane, in a speech at BAD 1, in a meeting with members of American Congress. "I saw you there, they came in, suddenly such an entrance of ... I do not know I will tell you in terms of less friends. Hadar says to the Prime Minister. In my life it was said there. It

is allowed to broadcast a soft interview with the Prime Minister, it is allowed to present weighty issues comically, it is allowed to ask things even in an interview that is not heavy-headed - but all this should be done much more seriously. Seriously, the joke is at the expense of Network 13.
