Technology learned that the KSP network has signed a contract with Apple Global and has become an official importer of the company's products in Israel - in addition to the official distributors Icon Group (iDigital) and Sidata (C-Data).
In doing so, KSP will stop selling distributor products, and will start importing all Apple products independently: iPhones, computers, iPads, headphones and Apple Watch.
A senior source who spoke to us says that unlike the distributors today, KSP
will only sell its products in its chain branches.
Alongside this, as requested, it will be forced to provide support to customers who purchase products from it.

Apple allows you to import directly from it only to the cellular companies and the official distributors who are responsible for Apple's distribution of its products to all authorized resellers.
In Israel, as mentioned, there are two companies that have been authorized to be an official distributor: Icon Group (iDigital) and Sidata (C-Data).
Both companies are responsible for the entire import mechanism from Apple and for distributing its products to all retail customers in Israel (except for the cellular companies that import for themselves).
In the meantime, it seems that the new competition may do good to consumers, increase competition and dismantle the existing duopoly.
