According to the SNCF penalty, "the TGVs were diverted on the classic line between Angoulême and Bordeaux" after the precautionary cut of a high-voltage line which supplied the high-speed line (LGV) threatened by these forest fires in Charente Maritime.

Thirty hectares burned

Two forest fires burned around thirty hectares of coniferous trees on Sunday afternoon in the town of Clérac, 60 km north of Bordeaux, according to the Departmental Fire and Rescue Service of Charente-Maritime (Sdis 17) .

The intervention of a hundred firefighters and a water bomber plane "made it possible to control the two homes", which will remain under surveillance overnight from Sunday to Monday.
