The biggest "design update in the history of Huracan" was made with this car, explains Mitja Borkert, head of design at Lamborghini, the man who imagined it.
At first glance, in fact, you immediately notice a profound reinterpretation, which reflects a double personality from every angle: an iconic supersport lifestyle and a car designed for the track.
Aerodynamic efficiency and lightweight engineering solutions infuse energy into each element while maintaining elegance, which distinguishes Tecnica within the Huracan range.
It has a more decisive, almost rapacious character: a powerful front profile with converging lines supported by muscular shoulders is combined with a lightweight hood, entirely in carbon fiber.
A new bumper that borrows from the Y design of the Terzo Millennio integrates an air curtain on a Huracan model for the first time.
The new front splitter, with open and lower sipes, which channel air through the wheels, helps to improve downforce and cooling.
The black at the base of the windshield accentuates the impression of lightness.
The inspiration for the silhouette comes from the Essenza ScV12, a limited edition track hypercar of 40, designed by Lamborghini Squadra Corse.
The fixed rear wing completes the unique profile.
With the same engine as the Huracan Sto and a 30 horsepower increase over the rear-wheel drive (Rwd) Evo, the powertrain delivers 565Nm of torque at a peak speed of 6,500rpm and delivers improved acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in 3.2 seconds.
Thanks to the recalibrated LDVI system and precisely tuned driving modes with specific suspension configuration, the direct rear wheel steering system and the innovative improvements in brake cooling it is an extremely versatile super sports car on the road and on the track.
Its dry weight is 1,379 kg and the Tecnica boasts a weight-to-power ratio of 2.15 kg / hp.
The increased power is matched by an engine with a more powerful and clearer sound at maximum revs, while inside the passenger compartment it ensures greater acoustic comfort.
In addition, this rear-wheel drive car integrates a rear-wheel steering system with a direct steering ratio and torque distribution, together with the modified Performance Traction Control System (P-Tcs) and a specific suspension configuration.
Depending on the driving mode selected - Strada, Sport or Corsa - each system is calibrated to offer a highly differentiated response in any environment.
The choice of standard and optional colors and finishes lends itself to customizations that prefer a luxurious style or more sporty looks.
In addition to eight standard exterior colors, more than 200 additional paint options and new interior finishes in Alcantara created specifically for the Tecnica are available through the Ad Personam program, as well as further exclusive options, such as patterns and colors for the seams, or even the possibility of having the 'Tecnica' motif embroidered on the seat in various colors.
