In terms of Google's Android Market share, it's beating Apple by a huge margin, but the decline in the percentage of users in the last 5 years should worry the company a bit.
According to a report by research firm Statista published in wccftech, the Android operating system has lost
8 percent
of its market share in favor of Apple's iOS.
How significant is the change?
In January 2022, Android's market share was
69.74 percent

77.32 percent in
July 2018. However, during the same period (five years) Apple's iOS operating system grew from

.

According to estimates, the growth of iOS is partly due to Apple's successful attempt to penetrate emerging markets with the help of its discounted devices, the iPhone SE.
However, so far, sales of the latest version launched last month - iPhone SE 2022 - are not as successful as the company expected, according to analyst Ming-qi Kuo.
