If the WhatsApp app does not work for you - you are not alone: users around the world are reporting tonight (Thursday) a glitch in the popular instant messaging app, which does not allow them to connect to the service.
According to the Downdetector website, which provides a snapshot of global Internet malfunctions, the malfunction is felt mainly in Western and Central Europe, North America, South America and the Middle East - including Israel.
WhatsApp responded: "We are aware that some people are experiencing problems with WhatsApp at the moment. We are working to restore the status quo and we will update as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience."
