During the event dedicated to the dynamic test of this new Biscione, strategic for the consolidation of the brand, Tavares and Imparato not only detailed the role that Tonale will have in the coming months for the commercial presence in the first 31 markets (from June) and in all the others (since the end of the year) including the United States, Asia and China, but they have also effectively 'transmitted' the great passion that animates the Alfa team and, in general, the management of Stellantis.

"Jean-Philippe and I are passionate about cars and competitions - said Tavares, answering a question about their presence at the Made in Italy GP weekend in Imola - and this is certainly not a defect".
It is therefore logical that even the number one of Stellantis underlined his 'love' for this brand that "represents Italy" which has great potential, allowing "to build the future starting from the past".
Tavares, in this regard, also recalled his recent experience when he participated in the Rally di Montecarlo Storico at the wheel of a Lancia Stratos: "at every stop I was immediately surrounded by enthusiasts - he said - and what amazed me is that they did not have the age of the car, but that of my children. This confirms that young people are interested in the emotions that come from cars and from big brands ".
Among other things, Tonale will allow the growth of Alfa Romeo's accounts immediately (the sale will begin in the second week of June, starting from a rent of 299 euros / month).
Tavares, in this regard, underlined that the brand is now "in profit without the launch of new models" and aims to increase "the profitability that has already reached the level of premium brands".
"In twelve months, the Alfa Romeo business model has been improved, made more rigorous and cleaned up and this shows that operations could be improved and there is still room for it. Alfa Romeo is proof that we can combine passion, emotion and rigor and having a profitable business ".
