After a police officer was indicted and imprisoned for having killed two people with heavy weapons during an intervention on the Pont-Neuf in Paris (1st arrondissement) last Sunday, a rally is organized in Bordeaux (Gironde) , Monday at noon.
The union calls on "police officers of all bodies and all ranks, but also all citizens" to come and gather in front of the school for the judiciary, near Place Pey-Berlan in the city center of the Gironde capital.
“Our colleague fired on a vehicle, the driver of which deliberately drove into the police in order to escape control”, estimate National Police Alliance and Unsa Police in a joint press release.
The unions “denounce this qualification targeting our colleague as a murderer, who would have killed intentionally, for no apparent reason, excluding in fact from the first acts of the instruction self-defense”.

The police “intend to denounce a two-speed justice, lenient for thugs, intractable for the police (…) who fight against all forms of delinquency and who ensure the safety of honest citizens on a daily basis, sometimes at the risk of their lives!
