The Stellantis group is strengthened in car sharing with the acquisition of Share Now, a Mercedes-Benz and BMW joint venture.
The German company based in Berlin, born from the merger of Car2go and Drive Now, adds 14 new European cities to Free2move's 7 mobility centers in the United States and Europe and improves technological skills.
Free2move is already a key player in the mobility market with a fleet of over 450,000 cars offering rental, car sharing and subscription services, 500,000 parking spaces and a network of 250,000 charging stations.
Free2move will add more than 3.4 million customers to the 2 million users.

Free2move recently announced the acquisition of Opel Rent, accelerating the growth strategy in Germany and Austria and pushing the transition from rental to mobility provider.
Meanwhile, it has accelerated its car sharing expansion in the United States, with the service now available in Washington, Portland, Oregon, Denver, Colorado, Columbus Ohio and Austin, Texas.
Free2move also manages car sharing in Europe (Paris and Madrid).
The Dare Forward 2030 plan expects to grow its mobility services to net revenues of 2.8 billion euros with a first step of 700 million euros in 2025.
