The broadcast of a video where a woman posing as a police inspector attacks young women in hijab has been widely shared

An outburst of verbal violence.

This is what we can see on a video published on social networks this Monday, by young women located in Onet-le-Château (Aveyron) and visibly victims of a racist attack.

An investigation has been opened, police say.

According to our colleagues from the local newspaper Center Presse, this video of less than a minute was shot a few hundred meters from the Rodez mosque.

Since then, the images have been viewed hundreds of thousands of times.

We see young women, two of whom are dressed, on this day of Aïd-el-Kébir which celebrates the end of Ramadan for the Muslim community, in hijabs, being approached by a fourth woman.

While they seem to be filming themselves to post a short video on the social network Tik Tok, the latter will challenge them.

" Everything is fine ?

You have no shame ?

she says after walking with a determined step towards the young women.

They seem wary and step back.

"No, everything is fine, thank you ma'am", answer the young women.

"You wear the hijab and you do dances like that, you do Tik Tok (in reference to the choreographies that are posted on the popular social network for the youngest)", continues this woman hidden behind sunglasses.

Then she points to one of the young girls who continued to film the scene.

“You can film me, I am a police inspector.

The cops are coming to dislodge you, because we don't want the buggers and the niggers!

“She asserts, dressed in civilian clothes, in front of interlocutors divided between amazement and mocking laughter.

Victims invited to go to the police station

She will even repeat it a second time in front of these young women who ask her “pardon?

“, taken aback.

As the tone rises, we hear him say to one of the young women “put your cackle down!

".

An attack that shocked many people.

“Racist attack near the Rodez mosque.

The author of this aggression claims to be a police inspector.

It is urgent that justice opens an investigation.

Our legal department is available to victims, ”reacts on Twitter SOS Racisme.
