Trailer for the movie "Release My Edge" (United King)

Independence Day is of course a good time to honor Israeli cinema, and being a holiday is a good opportunity to hold festive quizzes.

The Jerusalem Cinematheque today combined these two opportunities and held a special quiz in honor of Independence Day, with no less than 74 questions about the films made here over the years.

The quiz was written by Avner Shavit, a film critic at Walla!

Culture and grain Wald, dear system.

Once it has taken place in a physical format, we are happy to present it virtually as well.

Will you be able to get a higher score from the participants in Jerusalem?

Will you get 74 out of 74 or even close to that?

And this is also a good opportunity to recommend that you check, today and on all other days, the activities of the Jerusalem Cinematheque, one of the institutions that encourages and sanctifies Israeli cinema in the most impressive way;

And especially to visit the new website of the Israeli Film Archive, which has the largest, most important, diverse and most accessible collection of films made in Israel, of all years and of all types.

Long live the cinema and long live the State of Israel!
