One wrote: "I can not figure out if this is real or if you are all working on me" and another added: "This is very real. You should also empty the chassis rails from time to time."

Tuesday wrote: "I swear I'm learning something new every day" and then asked, "What ... how come I never heard of it ???".

So for your information - water can seep through the window seals into the doors when it rains or when you wash the vehicle.

The water is supposed to come out through the holes at the bottom, but these may become clogged due to dirt or debris from the road - meaning they need to be drained.

You can usually find them at the bottom of the doors, though you can also find them elsewhere in the car - depending on the type.

According to the Cars.com website, many vehicles will have drainage panels on the rocker panels and on the rear quarter panels, both located near the doors.
