Pininfarina and France's Namx look to the mobility of the future with Huv, the world's first car partially powered by a patented removable tank system that aims to make hydrogen available for large-scale private vehicles.

The SUV prototype - presented as a world preview at the PIninfarina headquarters in Cambiano - is powered by a hydrogen fuel cell and equipped with a fixed tank and six removable capsules, which guarantee a total range of 800 kilometers.

Designed with Pininfarina, the Huv will be marketed from the last quarter of 2025, with a price between 65,000 and 95,000 euros.

"We have a double ambition, to become a new reference point in the world of zero-emission cars and to constantly explore new territories in order to facilitate the mobility of our consumers. Namx is a collective project created with the best industrial and technical partners of Europe and Africa "explains Faouzi Annaiah, founder and president of Namx.

"Pininfarina is not just design and style, but also innovation and the ability to give life to a vision of a sustainable future. The Namx Huv is part of our DNA: it's about creating the best driving experience for unlimited mobility, with style. "says Paolo Pininfarina.

"This car represents a very important exercise in understanding where the mobility of the future is going. It is a hydrogen electric car with a range that allows you to make a long journey. We have always been interested in hydrogen, investing in studies and prototypes. Namx is an interesting startup ", underlines the managing director Silvio Angori.

The Namx Huv will be presented to the public in the autumn at the Paris Motor Show.

It is already available for pre-order on the Namx website.

Born from the vision of its two founders, Faouzi Annajah and Thomas de Lussac, the Namx project has garnered interest in Africa and Europe, bringing together key players in the sector, using the best existing technologies and creating the still missing solutions.

The Huv will be marketed in two versions: a 300hp rear-wheel drive base, for a top speed limited to 200km / h and acceleration from 0 to 100km / h in 6.5 seconds and then a self-propelled GTH version. integral 550 hp, for a maximum speed limited to 250 km / h and acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in 4.5 seconds.

The Huv has a well-defined front, side lines that rise up to culminate in a powerful and decisive rear volume.

Always sideways, two lines intersect to form an "X"

- a deliberate attempt to display the NAMX brand name on the car.

The mudguards widen from the "X" outwards and wrap around the edge of the vehicle.

This movement harmonizes the entire car and is unmistakably part of the Pininfarina philosophy.

The "X" is also at the center of the concept design.

The massive front grille maximizes the cooling requirements of the fuel cells, while its profile and that of the charging port recall the "X".

The lights, wide and horizontal, cross the entire front, characterizing the rear volume in a unique way.

The Huv is the first show car in the history of Pininfarina developed entirely digitally.
