The expectation is growing for the new results on our galaxy, the Milky Way, obtained from the collaboration Event Horizon Telescope (Eht).
The announcement is scheduled for early afternoon, with press conferences around the world.
A joint press conference was organized in Italy with researchers from the National Institute of Astrophysics (Inaf), the National Institute of Nuclear Physics (Infn), the University of Cagliari and the Federico II University of Naples.
The event is scheduled to coincide with the European press conference, scheduled at the headquarters of the European Southern Observatory (Eso) in Germany, in Garching, and those scheduled for the rest of the world.
