Michelin-starred chef Yannick Alléno paid tribute to his son, Antoine, this Friday in messages posted on Instagram.
Aged 24, Antoine Alléno was hit while riding a scooter on Sunday evening in the seventh arrondissement of the capital, by a driver.
The young man, who was at the head of the restaurant "Burger Père et Fils", launched last year with his father, died on the spot.
Since the announcement of his disappearance, messages of support have multiplied on social networks.
His father, a starred chef, paid tribute to his son a few hours before the funeral.

Four days after the accident, the man suspected of having fatally struck Antoine Alléno, was indicted on Wednesday and remanded in custody, said the Paris prosecutor's office.
Arrested shortly after the events, he was brought to the Paris court on Tuesday evening at the end of his police custody.
Drunk driving
The prosecution has also brought to execution two other sentences of six and three months' imprisonment already on the criminal record of this man, which means that he will have to serve these nine months in prison.
The 24-year-old man was questioned at length by the police while in police custody.
Plagued by addictions and drunk at the time, he said he remembered nothing.
The suspect was already known to the police for several offences, including traffic offenses and property crime.
