Cardiovascular risk: an overall score to better target treatment

The calculation of the overall risk takes into account known cardiovascular risk factors such as age, sex, tobacco, blood pressure, cholesterol level or diabetes.


We have to get out of the era where hypercholesterolemia is treated with a statin, hypertension with an antihypertensive, diabetes with an antidiabetic.

We must move on to the prevention of global cardiovascular risk.
