To highlight the performance of the Audi RS 4 Avant and Audi RS 5, the new competition and competition plus packages arrive.

Among the features of the packages are the adjustable coil shock absorbers, included in the plus pack, which accompany the RS plus sports exhaust and the stiffer springs and anti-roll bars.

The 2.9 TFSI biturbo delivers 450 hp and 600 Nm of torque from 1,900 to 5,000 rpm.

Thanks to the software refinement of the engine control unit, gearbox and rear sports differential, the Audi RS 4 Avant sprints from 0 to 100 km / h in 3.9 seconds, which is two tenths faster than the standard version.

Until now, the Audi RS 4 Avant and Audi RS 5 could be equipped with the RS sports suspension plus with Dynamic Ride Control (DRC) as an alternative to the standard RS suspension.

System which, thanks to the hydraulic roll and pitch compensation, contrasts both lateral lying down and longitudinal alterations in the attitude.

Thanks to the new competition packages, the setup is now even more extreme.

By opting for the plus configuration of the competition packages, Audi RS 4 Avant and Audi RS 5 benefit from new manually adjustable coil shock absorbers.

The height from the ground of the cars is reduced by 10 mm compared to the standard RS versions, while by acting on the ring nuts at the lower end of the springs it is possible to further lower the trim by 10 mm.

The competition packages are accompanied by an increase in the maximum speed from 280 km / h (optional) to 290 km / h.

The performance increase is flanked by specific ABS software and the availability, on request, of ultra high performance Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires.

Features which, combined with the optional carbon-ceramic brakes, reduce stopping distance from 100 km / h by up to 2 meters.
