According to union sources quoted by the news channel, the attacker acted "without apparent reason".
He was quickly arrested by the police.
The security guard was taken care of by the Marseille firefighters and transported to the emergency room.
For its part, La Provence reports that the victim is a man in his fifties.
Center tagged in February
The health assistant (and former mayor of Marseille), Michèle Rubirola, went there as did Yannick Ohanessian, assistant for public tranquility.
For now, the international vaccination center is closed.
As the local newspaper La Provence recalls, this center in the 5th arrondissement of Marseille was covered with antivax tags last February.
But, for the time being, no link has been established between the attack on Thursday and this degradation.
