The all-new Vision AMG offers a glimpse into the fully electric future of Mercedes-AMG.
It does so with spectacular and unusual proportions defined by the long wheelbase and emphasized by short overhangs, massive shoulders, wide wheels, as well as a distinctive rear spoiler and signature star-shaped headlights.
The 'breathtaking' design of this four-door coupe hides the equally innovative dedicated AMG.EA platform, currently under development in Affalterbach, and which will be used for the next high-performance all-electric models.

Vision AMG - reads the note - is the demonstration of the double polarity of the brand: the interaction between beauty and the extraordinary.
At the same time, elements of the future, such as the luminous signatures with the illuminated high-tech grille, underline the progressive evolution of our Sensual Purity design language.
"With its contrasting modern surface and radical proportions - explains Gorden Wagener, chief design officer of Mercedes-Benz Group AG - this car shows the next step in design, building on the Vision EQXX and moving further towards high-performance luxury. Continuous flow of beautifully modeled surfaces and monolithic sculpture complete the powerful aesthetic of the Vision AMG. The result is an electric supercar, a style icon that stimulates desire and is exactly what sets it apart. Powerful heart of the Vision AMG is the innovative engine Axial Flux developed by the wholly owned subsidiary of Mercedes-Benz YASA.
Compact and lightweight, it offers significantly more power than conventional electric motors.
And it is not surprising, therefore, the connection with the world of Formula 1 through shapes and hints of color that refer to the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 team.
These include the silver paint with large-format star motif on the shoulders and rear fenders, but also functional elements in visible carbon fiber, the aerodynamic design of the 22-inch wheels with aerodynamic upholstery, the AMG logo and the elements on the sills and diffuser in Petronas colors.
The high-tech sporty design and proportions give the Vision AMG a futuristic character.
The four-door configuration also makes it clear how this show car offers a taste of what will be a functional all-electric sports car of the future.
Despite the battery pack in the car floor between the axles, the Vision AMG is noticeably lower than the EQS and, thanks to its cleverly designed interior floor, offers plenty of space for four people.
