Two children were killed Tuesday and a dozen were injured in a shooting at an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas, according to a local hospital.
Uvalde Memorial Hospital said on Facebook that it had taken care of "13 children", adding that two "had died" when they arrived.
Local police say they have arrested the suspected shooter.
Uvalde, Texas is located about 90 minutes west of San Antonio.
There is an active shooter at Robb Elementary.
Law enforcement is on site.

The local hospital in Uvalde confirmed to ABC News that two children died from gunshot wounds in the shooting.
In addition, 13 schoolchildren were being treated in the hospital's emergency department following this "attack", the hospital also said.
Two patients were transferred to San Antonio for treatment, while a third was awaiting transfer.
A 45-year-old man was also hospitalized after being grazed by a bullet.
San Antonio University Hospital said it had two patients affected in the shooting - a child and an adult.
The Texas hospital did not yet have information on their condition.
