The Mc20, Maserati's super sports car, is a one-of-a-kind car: capable of thrilling between the curbs of a track and, in the same way, driving along a highway in open air mode.
The new spider is 100% made in Modena: developed at the Maserati Innovation Lab, built and presented in the historic factory in Viale Ciro Menotti.
The car reveals its peculiarities already from the name: MC is the acronym of Maserati Corse;
20 is the reference to 2020, the year in which the new Brand Era began;
Cielo, underlines that this is a model devoted to "open" driving pleasure, while maintaining all the prerogatives of the coupé.

The Mc20 Cielo, which with its line recalls the glorious racing boats of the past, hides the revolutionary Neptune engine under the hood: a 3,000 cc.
V6 biturbo with technology derived from F1 capable of delivering 630 Hp.
What makes the Modenese discovery truly unique, projecting it into the future is the innovative retractable glass roof which, with just one touch on the central screen, allows it to transform instantly: from transparent to opaque;
a process possible with the application of Polymer Dispersed Liquid Crystal technology.
The roof is best in class both for thermal insulation and for the speed of opening and closing, only 12 ".
Designed for perfection: in the Cielo version, the MC20 weighs only 65 kg more than the coupé: a result obtained with the meticulous work in the design phase.
In addition to the excellent weight-to-power ratio, the carbon frame (the same for all three configurations: coupé, spider and future electric version) guarantees uncompromising torsional stiffness that allows you to combine extraordinary driveability on the road and on the track.
To achieve this amazing result, each component has been conceived and inserted in the name of functionality, but without losing the "wow" effect.
An example are the butterfly doors that open like wings and unfold upwards, facilitating the entry and exit of the driver and passenger.
From the point of view of active safety, the new model adds numerous innovations.
In addition to the parking sensors, the rear camera and the blind spot monitoring already present on the MC20 from MY22, the autonomous emergency brake, traffic sign information and a new 360 ° camera are introduced on the spider.
The already satisfying on-board experience has been enriched by the MIA multimedia system (Maserati Intelligent Assistant), and by the Maserati connect.
From an aesthetic point of view, the launch version features a new metallic tri-layer color: Acquamarina, available as part of the Maserati Fuoriserie customization program.
A color capable of interacting with light, revealing itself in a surprising way.
The base is a racing-inspired pastel gray, which recalls the sporty DNA of the MC20, combined with an iridescent aquamarine mica capable of making the hue come alive.
