Many in the culture and entertainment industry have expressed pain over the death of talented TV creator and presenter Modi Bar-On who passed away at the age of 59 after a battle with cancer.
Yaron London paid tribute to Bar-On in a conversation with Walla!
Culture: "Moody was an original presenter in his approach, because he conveyed to the teaching profession the curiosity, humor and vitality of the stand-up comedian. When Motti Kirschenbaum passed away and we discussed on Channel 10 who would replace him by my side, I recommended him. The rabbi decided that he would not continue. He was an excellent facilitator. As a presenter of sports programs he bought his world. He was not a great expert in sports but his enthusiasm was captivating. So I, who do not understand anything in football and also do not particularly like it, liked to see his performance and the great joy that erupted from him.
"Besides, I knew him as a partner in the creation of some excellent historical series, and even there he brought the same vitality, bouncy, humor and irony that were so characteristic of him. When I treated him as a historian he always protested and said he was not a historian. In addition, to me he was beautiful. "Degree. I'm so sorry. He was a man full of charm. Too bad."
