A dizzying fall.
A four-year-old child fell six floors, about fifteen meters, from a building in Tours (Indre-et-Loire) on Monday.
He would suffer from fractures but his life is not in danger.
“I had just finished walking my dog when my partner told me he heard a horrible sound, a
boom
and screams.
When I arrived there, there was already a woman taking care of the little one, ”says a caregiver who was passing by at the New Republic.
The caregiver and an intern provided first aid to the little boy.
“He was crying and talking”
“He was crying and talking.
We tried to calm the little one and keep his neck straight, "says the caregiver to the regional daily.
It was then a dozen firefighters and a team from Smur who took care of the seriously injured little victim and transported him to the hospital.
His vital prognosis was not engaged.
According to the first statements of the father of the little boy, shocked, he would have escaped his vigilance.
He “repeated that he had just gone to the toilet and that the little one had fallen, he had surely climbed on a piece of furniture”, explains the caregiver.
An investigation has been opened.
