"I already want to move on to the next thing": Adir Miller and Gal Zeid separate from the series "Miller Junction", Tel Aviv 31 May 2022 (Daniel Seilen)

This coming Sunday, the final episode of the current season of Keshet's successful comedy, "Miller Junction," will air, while it is still unclear what the future of the series will be and whether it will return to the screen.

Just before the end, the actors of the series came to a festive screening of the last episode, which was held at the Prime restaurant in Tel Aviv, and also became a kind of farewell event.

"Right now, sadly I say and excited, I already want to move on to the next thing. But maybe my agent will close a much better deal for me," series creator Adir Miller told Walla!

Culture, and told about the next projects on his desk.

"I'm going to play in Avi Nesher's film, a completely dramatic role. I also started writing a drama film for the first time, and in that I also use my friend (Gal Zaid, who plays the character of Agent Ofer - DS).

"I do not know if this will happen, but at the moment 'Miller Junction' will go down, things will sink and we will think about what to do," he says.

It's time to say goodbye.

As the creator of the series, what is your favorite episode?

"This is a very, very difficult question, depending on what season you are talking about. If this is the current one, because we are in the final episode - there is something in the final episode that is one big celebration. For me it is also closing a circle with the guys from 'Ramzor' Of 'Ramzor' into 'Miller Junction' and these two series actually meet in the final episode. The goddesses meet together for a final episode, it's something very, very exciting and we also thought a lot about how they would get in, I mean we would put 'Ramzor' into 'Miller Junction', and I think we found a winding and interesting way and I do not want to spoil too much - but it's exciting " .

Asked if he would like to create another season of "Traffic Light," Miller replies in the negative.

"I just think it's not true," he explains.

"Usually these series become mythological over the years and I think returning it is not right. Everything should be left in its place and it does not rest for a moment, I see it on reruns, everywhere I still see 'Traffic light', it is still alive and kicking ".

There have been a lot of positive reviews about this season, along with a lot of worse reviews as well.

Do you understand the criticism?

"With you! With you! Only the bad guys! Most of the reviews were good," Miller replies, while Zaid responds in a similar spirit.

"People are flying on the series. The fact that there are TV critics who do not like the series, it's hard to explain a series that is so successful and so beloved by all sections of the population. I get comments this year that I do not believe at all."

Miller adds: "I always say, they will write and we will."

Closing a common circle.

Dikla Hadar, who plays Maya in the series, also expressed mixed feelings with the impending end of "Miller Junction."

"It's a very big sense of satisfaction because the reactions are great and from what I expected this season is great, terribly funny and people from all over thank us. A great privilege. On the other hand, not just accepting the fact that it's over, it was an amazing experience," she says.

Would you go on to another season if there was one?

Gal Zaid

: "It depends on Adir mostly. It's not us talking about it. I believe there will be another season."

Dikla Hadar

: "I hold on to this belief, as I said I hold on to the fact that Adir keeps saying 'guys, this is definitely a final season, for now' - so I hold on to 'for now', which he always makes sure to note."

Hadar: "I work a lot in the theater, I have a show that calls for the Pride Festival that is going to be a LGBT show called Less is More.

You can come and watch the theater cafe in the Cameri.

I would love to see you there.

I co-wrote with five wonderful girls one of whom is my partner.

Especially for Pride Month, and not just for lesbians or gay people, for the whole population.

Channel 14 launched a special magazine and on its front page appears a protest against the proud community, which provoked a big storm in the industry especially just before Pride Month.

What do you think about it?

Hadar: "I'm sorry about that. I wish we were all much more compassionate and enabling people. Being with what's different from me, does not mean it's less good, better - all the last period with the corona, vaccines, no vaccines, right, left, all The opinions. People are so determined with their opinions and I say, 'Guys, calm down, this is just an opinion. This is not a fact. Let's accept each other as we are. Let's be human.'

"She's a part of me. I can not say goodbye to her. I love her too much."

What was your favorite episode?

"The episode of the birth, with everyone in the car and me shouting and finally giving birth in a Bedouin tent."

And what's next after 'Miller Junction'?

"We're going back to a new season of 'Daddy Caregiver,' the series with Yuval Samu at Nicoldione, and a new season - season 20 - to 'Great Country.' I have some freedom, I gave birth recently."
