"A hole in the brick"

In 1964, Zohar directed one of his most important films: "A Hole in the Brick," a surrealist satire based on a screenplay by Amos Keinan, which begins with immigration to Israel and becomes a parody of the film industry.

Coop - "Immigration"

In one of the greatest sketches in the history of Israeli entertainment, Zohar and Arik Einstein recreate the waves of immigration to Israel, and demonstrate how each group rises above those who follow it.

Lol - "La Marmor"

While in an iconic sketch of the coop gang, a father and son appear expecting to broadcast a football game, but instead an opera called "La Marmor" is broadcast.

The father and son, disappointed at the cancellation of their favorite sports show, vent their anger on the TV and smash it with hammer blows.

Coop - "Bible Quiz"

Another memorable collaboration by Zohar and Einstein, who together wrote a parody of the traditional Independence Day quiz, in which Zohar plays the interpreter for the competitors.

So when is it a vine in the sense of a vine?

"Three days and a child"

One of Zohar's most acclaimed films (1967), which even led to one of the first great achievements of Israeli cinema: the Best Actor Award at the Cannes Film Festival for Oded Kotler.

A few years ago, we chose the hideout scene from it in 28th place in the parade of the great scenes of Israeli cinema for its generations.

"Snail": Karate lesson

"Snail" is mainly remembered as a groundbreaking album, but the film that preceded it also entered the pantheon of Israeli culture.

Among other things, in one of the sketches from it, Uri Zohar teaches Zvi Shissel a karate lesson in Yiddish.

"Peeking" - "Friday to Friday"

The successful cult film, which even gave the Tel Aviv beach its name (formerly called Sheraton Beach), has become controversial over the years.

The calmest most remembered of them, probably, is the one who set the famous date in the history of Israeli cinema - the sixth to the sixth, 1972.

"Freedom in a convalescent home"

Zohar, a graduate of the Nahal band and Green Onion, also sinned in singing. Among the songs he recorded was the duet written by Haim Hefer and singer Zohar together with Ilana Rubina, who was then his wife.

The Pale Tracker - "Water for King David"

Zohar did a lot of work in his films with the Pale Tracker, and also directed this excerpt from the 1957 Singer and Choral Festival. No less and perhaps much more than the song, his choreography is remembered.

"big eyes"

One of Zohar's most recent films before his conversion, in which he also collaborated with Arik Einstein, deals with the story of basketball coach Benny Furman, a chaser who created dresses he knows no bounds.

The film is also remembered for its theme song, which was co-written by Zohar, Einstein and Miki Gavrielov.
