Do you think that you have been dug up in groups to this day? The new WhatsApp change will surprise you too Israel today

The popular app continues to upgrade as it announces an increase in the group membership limit and the file sizes that can be sent through it

The WhatsApp app continues to upgrade all the time as Meta announces today (Thursday) a new update that will delight many team managers.

If in the past it was possible to form groups of only 256 members, today the number has doubled and it will be possible to form a group of 512 members.

As mentioned, this is a significant upgrade that will make it easier for organizational groups consisting of a large number of members to update more quickly, and the need to transfer information between several parallel groups in the same company or organization.

It is important to note that in the case of large organizations with over 512 members, it will still be necessary to set up several groups, but overall this is a significant leap in terms of the ability to convey messages between entities that need them more quickly.

At the same time, the company has expanded the ability of the app to send files from the size of 100 MB to the size of 2 GB.

In March it was reported that the company is exploring this possibility on its users in Argentina, and now it is an extension of the ability to send huge files to the whole world at least for now to mobile phones with Android operating software.

The company notes that the expansion will be gradual and may be inactive in some countries, but the upgrade was launched this week and is expected to reach everywhere soon.

Meanwhile, the EU has allowed Meta that the company must by next July explain its privacy protection policy to Brussels.

Union regulators are demanding that the company clearly explain its policies and what is being done with information passing through the network.

The regulators further note that the company's response from March did not satisfy them.

"WhatsApp must ensure that users understand what they agree to and how their personal data is used for commercial purposes," Commission Attorney General Didier Rainers said in a statement.
