The 14-year-old teenager who confessed to the murder of his girlfriend of the same age, found stabbed to death on Thursday in Clessé (Saône-et-Loire), near Mâcon, was indicted and imprisoned on Friday.

The prosecution had announced, earlier in the day, that he had not undergone "abolition of discernment" and that he would therefore be subject to a criminal sanction.

During his police custody, which had been extended on Friday morning, the young man had been examined by an expert psychiatrist "concluding to a significant alteration of discernment, without abolition, making him accessible at this stage to a criminal sanction", had explained the public prosecutor of Mâcon Éric Jallet.

The body of the teenager was found Thursday in the small wine village of Clessé.

He had numerous wounds and a knife still stuck in his neck.

Thursday, Éric Jallet explained that the victim's boyfriend, educated like her at the college of Lugny, a town near Clessé, had confessed to the murder of the teenager, perpetrated during a night meeting.

“New hearings of the detainee took place, highlighting the young man's desire to kill.

He thought his act could be facilitated by the fact that the victim loved him.

He said he had practiced knife handling.

He described the blows with precision, ”added the prosecutor on Friday.
