Actor and producer Shmulik Omni, the husband of singer Miri Aloni, passed away this weekend at the age of 88. His wife Miri posted a Facebook post over the weekend, calling on the public to attend a funeral to be held today (Sunday) at 3:00 PM in Pardes Chaim Cemetery in Kfar Saba.
Aloni also wrote that the shiva will take place at Mishan Ramat Efal.
"Shmulik Omni is my handsome lover, a man in men, my life partner for the past 40 years and the father of our two sons has passed away, passed into a world that is all good," she wrote on Facebook over the weekend.
"His soul in heaven, fought shoulder to shoulder with Meir Harzion, actor, director, book man, man of truth, straight as a ruler."
She later published another post in which she wrote that the shuttle to the funeral will depart today at 14:00 near Habima.

Omni was an actor, director and producer.
In 1970 he starred in the play "Camino Real" in New York with the lead role in Al Pacino.
In 1984 he married Miri Aloni for the fourth time and they had two sons.
After we got married he became the personal manager.
He produced for her the show "Women According to Brecht."
Omni has been convicted several times of various violent offenses, including rape, assault, threats, insulting a public employee and causing damage to property.
He was convicted in 1978 of raping a waitress.
He was sentenced to one year in prison but the court shortened his sentence.
In 2005 he was convicted of 12 counts of threatening public employees, insulting a public employee and contempt of court, and was sentenced to four months of community service.
