The cars involved in SBK have the same sporty character and strong personality of the Hyundai that fight for the World Rally, TCR and E-TCR.

For the Superbike World Championship, the i30 N Safety Cars are managed by Hyundai Motorsport and the modifications, compared to the road versions, are limited to the essential parts only: rear light bar, placed in a rear position to help improve aerodynamics and to provide better visibility to the pilots following it.
Similar changes also for the Kona N, the car built for those looking for a high-performance vehicle with track performance but suitable for everyday use.
The seats remain unchanged compared to the standard versions, containing for a better grip of the driver and doctor, always seated next to the Safety Driver to carry out first aid assistance and for safety reasons, and the 2.0 turbo petrol engine capable of delivering 280 HP. .
