The judges and contestants continue to give their old sticks - and if you liked it to this day there is no reason not to enjoy it;

If you've never been a fan, this season probably will not make you like that either

Two insights came to my mind upon hearing the combination: "Master Chef" and the season of the decade.

The first - wow, what a crazy achievement.

Seriously, not every day a TV show marks such an achievement, not even in Israel where the broadcasters are quite forgiving and are in no hurry to download shows from the screen once they have already been approved.

The second insight (as opposed to the first) was - a decade?

"Master Chef"?

No way!

This show has been airing for at least twenty years.

In fact, I had vague memories of asking my mom to make me recipes from the program back when I was back in middle school.

The solution to the annoying insights came in the form of a quick Google search that revealed that "Master Chef" was not actually aired during my school days, but aired in 2010 and this is not actually the decade of broadcasting (for those who have arithmetic like me - it's twelve years).

The "Decade Season" refers to the tenth season of the show's main format, excluding the VIP versions and other specials that do not appear on the menu.

The season opening episode of "Master Chef" tried to take the pathos of "Season of the Decade" and become a kind of final broadcast and launch episode at the same time.

If in the previous season of the show, contestants who came to the first episode were sent to the field to pick vegetables from which to prepare their audition dishes, this season they came to the show studio for a set that looked like a finale and were given a tour of the time tunnel. Their audition.

This season, too, the contestants are asked to send one dish for a blind tasting test - the judges taste the dish, tease about it (especially Eyal) and try to guess who made it (a young woman with an old soul who works in high-tech and collects records, it's pretty much a mash-up ") At this time the contestants are in a nearby room and looking at them with bated breath and only praying that they will be invited to a face-to-face meeting where they will prepare another dish for their kitchen idols. To add a look of importance to the season, contestants must get"

Why five honest and not four as in previous seasons?

Because as you have probably seen in one of the countless promos that aired for the new season, the judging team was joined this time by the restaurateur Ruthie Brodo, who is now not only in "Winning Kitchen" (and every commercial break), but also here.

In general, it seems that an endless judging panel has become a kind of hallmark of the reality of Keshet and not far off the day when the presentation of the judging table will be an episode in itself only after which we will get to know the contestants.

On the other hand, when it comes to Brodo, one of the most professional, impressive and especially cool characters we have come across in reality in Israel, it's hard to be fooled by this.

Relying on just one program, it seems that the multiplicity of judges does create a cannibalization of their screen time.

In an episode that aired yesterday, for example, he felt that Israel Aharoni was a bit engrossed in all the fuss and we were privileged to hear less of his insights.

Since I hold him as one of the more professional members of the team, it's a pretty unfortunate fact that I hope you balance out during the season.

The one who is not swallowed at all is Eyal Shani, probably the most prominent judge on the show who looks like a clever algorithm that just creates ridiculous quotes from the culinary field.

Just yesterday he managed to produce enough pearls for an entire season.

I especially liked: "For a long time I did not eat unpalatable food that I enjoy so much" and of course "I will choose a person over food".

As someone who in previous seasons recoiled from both and even used to run forward when he got into unnecessary jokes about the power of leeks, I think I learned to like the persona.

This is a first-rate actor who just happens to be into food and could provide entertaining TV moments even if he were a participant in a reality show that deals with carpentry.

When he claimed that the cacho ah Pepe of a contestant coming from Rome was not Italian enough and the latter put him on the wrong foot, he did not confuse for a moment and changed reality with a philosophical monologue that combined Italy, America and other engravings.

Really, one can only appreciate a man's ability to talk himself into knowing.

Phosphates.

After all, the "master chef" is still mostly made up of personal stories and such were plentiful yesterday and apparently in the atmosphere of the decade season they also felt a bit like a set-off of past stories.

Was faced with an exciting aliyah story, was a hitmaker who recently appeared in Shi-Lee Schindler's film and how is it possible without the exciting contestant from the periphery (and this time: Sderot) who prepares 'Mamot' food even though she is not yet forty.

Oh and she also suffers from a special 'problem' - she is unable to cook non-spicy food and therefore also accustoms her children to it from a young age (Eyal Shani in the "lovely" response).

If we take down all the decorations from the decade-long season of "Master Chef" and concentrate on the "dish" itself, not much has changed here.

Ruthie Brodo is a nice addition but not something that will change the format and the judges and contestants continue to give their old shit.

If you have loved it to this day there is no reason why you should not enjoy it;

If you've never been a fan,
