Hiding the "recently seen? WhatsApp in new gospel
Are you also less fond of being followed via WhatsApp and the "recently seen"?
The popular messaging app keeps you updated and allows you to hide information from specific contacts - including your profile picture and "about".

We all know a family member, colleague or friend who has decided to turn off the "recently seen" option, mainly so that we do not find out if they are filtering us.
Today (Friday) WhatsApp added a new feature that will allow you to hide your connection status from a specific contact.
This is a significant change because so far WhatsApp has made it possible to hide the "recently seen" only in a sweeping way - something that many may prefer to avoid.
In the current update, which is already available for both Android and iOS users, you can manually mark which contacts will not be able to see your last connection.

Also, apart from the new option added to the messaging app, you can hide the "about" from specific people - information you have written and can be read by your contacts, and your profile pictures.
How will you hide the "last seen"?
In the settings within the WhatsApp app, go to the privacy menu and mark the contacts you want to hide.
