You can use windscreen cleaners to remove dirt and insect remains from your windscreen.
The KÜS has tested which means perform best.
Which windscreen cleaner concentrate is best for cleaning the windscreen of typical dirt such as flower dust, pollen, bird droppings and insects?
The expert organization KÜS has investigated this question.
To do this, KÜS tested 9 concentrates on a special windshield washer test stand and in the laboratory according to standardized specifications.
Four cleaners received a good rating, three "satisfactory", two "sufficient".
The price range per 250 millimeter container varied between just under 3 and 11.30 euros.
Windscreen cleaner in the test: these products performed best
Test winner is the Sonax Xtreme
(window cleaner 1:100) with 85 out of 100 possible points.
This is followed by
Nigrin Performance
(disc clear 1:100) with 77 points.
Third place was taken by the
Liqui Moly windshield cleaner super concentrate
with 76 points .
Also rated "good" was
Dr.
Wack
(CW 1:100) with 75 points.
The testers praise the
high and fast cleaning performance for city dirt and insect dirt
.
The good cleaners are among the expensive test candidates with prices between 7.95 and 11.30 euros.

These funds received the grades "satisfactory" and "sufficient"
Three products achieved a
satisfactory result

These include the
Mannol 5022
(window cleaner concentrate 1:100) with 72 points, the
Caramba cleaner
(1:100 concentrate) with 69 points and the
RS 1000
(clear view 1:100) with 63 points.
The testers
rated Cartechnic disc cleaner
(1:100) and
Ernst disc
clear (1:100) as “sufficient” .
The
Cartechnic
product scored 59 points.
Ernst's cheapest cleaning product, at just under 3 euros, scored 58 points.
According to KÜS, both cleaners have
clear deficiencies when it comes to loosening the types of dirt that are typical in summer
