Crasso Motors, Dacia's importer to Israel, today began marketing the Jogger, a compact 7-seater microphone - a category previously inhabited by cars such as Toyota Verso, Chevrolet Orlando, Mazda 5 and Kia Carens, but has disappeared from the market in recent years.
The idea is to allow a seating configuration of 7 seats, but while maintaining the overall length of a compact family car.
For example, the Jogger, which covers 455 cm, is 10 cm shorter than the Toyota Corolla station wagon.
When the method is to extend the wheelbase as much as possible by pushing the wheels into the corners of the chassis.
In the case of the Jogger the wheelbase stands at 290 cm, which is 20 cm more than in the Corolla for comparison.

In terms of dimensions, the Jogger, which also beckons in the direction of families who love hiking and outdoor activities, will try to earn points with a look reminiscent of Jeeps, equipped with an impressive ventral spacing of 20 cm. The trunk volume when all seats are used stands at 212 liters When folding the third row up to 2,017 liters by pulling out the third row and folding the second row
. 110 hp and 20.4 kg of torque. The gearbox is manual, with 6 gears. Performance is 11.2 seconds per 100 km / h and 183 km / h maximum.
Early next year a version with significant potential will join the offer. Much more in terms of suitability for the Israeli audience - a 1.6-liter hybrid engine with an automatic transmission.

The Jogger will be marketed in Israel in three trim levels;
ESSENTIAL that there will be an entry-level version, Comfort at the intermediate level and Comfort plus that will be the higher of the three.
As is customary in Dacia and with the aim of keeping the price as low as possible, in the entry version the list of equipment is relatively limited.
With the exception of an 8-inch multimedia monitor with Android and Apple compatibility, cruise control and LED lighting, the vehicle comes with assemblies that are commonly encountered in commercial vehicles.
Manual side mirrors, steel rims, only two power windows, standard air conditioner and more.
The safety area amounts to 6 airbags and automatic braking.
The level of finish above it adds two more electric windows, climate control, reverse camera, electric direction for mirrors, armrest for the driver's seat, modular roof rail, leather coating for the steering wheel and more.
The high-end finish also features alloy wheels, a smart key, front and rear parking sensors, an electric handbrake and a 4.2-inch information display on the dashboard.

As is customary at Dacia, the vehicle item per shekel is one of the strengths of the brand and the situation here is no different.
Jogger prices start at NIS 105,000 for the basic finish level, NIS 115,000 for the intermediate version and NIS 120,000 for the high finish level.
These are of course prices that are tens of thousands of shekels lower than the prices of 7-seater vehicles such as the Mitsubishi Outlander, Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace, Nissan X-Trail and others.
On the other hand, the price of of this price is a waiver of comfort equipment that we have already become accustomed to seeing in mini and super mini cars of course from which.
But this is a compromise that can be accepted for such a low price.
Another and more problematic compromise is the waiver of advanced safety systems, a waiver that led him to score a lone star in European crash tests.
In this aspect, the importer says that as an alternative to the same price for a used 7-seater car for several years, despite the lack of these systems, the Jogger does not necessarily fall short of them in terms of safety.
