At the international launch, DS unveiled the revamped DS7 that will henceforth be called the New DS7 and not a "crossback" as in the past.

The DS7 will be marketed in Europe with three propulsion versions, all plug-in hybrids - 225 hp, 300 and 360 hp, with the latter two combining two electric motors and dual propulsion.

The battery capacity of the plug-in stumps is 14.2 kWh and the range of travel using the battery alone will be about 65 km in WLTP standard.

In its powerful version, the DS7 will accelerate to 100 km / h in 5.6 seconds.

Outside Europe, the model will also be marketed with a 130 hp diesel engine, and three petrol engines - 130 hp, 215 hp and 225 hp S. Which of this variety will come to the country depends of course on many variables.

Since this is not a completely new model, there is also no change in dimensions except for a 1.5 cm lower chassis and wheel extensions that have been widened by 2.4 cm in the front and a single cm in the rear. These changes usually ensure better behavioral characteristics.

Contrary to the electrifying trend that dominates the industry today, there is no talk of launching a full electric version, but if you look at the range of models of the entire concern, it can be assumed that it is only a matter of time before the DS7 looks fully electric.
