My daughter was discharged from the hospital with two legs missing and her fingers on her right hand missing.
At first, I blamed myself a lot, I told myself that I hadn't been able to protect her.
But with hindsight, I realized that if I hadn't had the reflex to call for help, she would have died
, ”says this mother residing in the north of France.
One morning in July 2019, her daughter Luana, then 7.5 months old, simply had a fever.
So far, nothing out of the ordinary for a baby this age.
Impossible to imagine that a handful of hours later, the baby – in good health by the way – will be admitted to intensive care.
