The ability to delete messages that you regret sending on WhatsApp has reached the app in 2017, but currently this option is limited in a relatively short time - and you can only delete messages up to an hour, 8 minutes and 16 seconds from the moment it is sent.

Now, according to the WABetaInfo website, we will soon have much more time to regret.

Beta update 2.22.15.8 for the WhatsApp app on Android, which was released over the weekend, allows users a longer window to delete the message - two days and 12 hours.

Like any update in development, the new feature will later reach iPhone (iOS) users as well.

As you may recall, in April, the CEO and founder of Meta (Facebook) Mark Zuckerberg, the parent company of WhatsApp, announced that in an update coming soon to the messaging app, group managers will have more power, and can remove incorrect or problematic messages from group conversation for all members

. The significant one that will arrive soon is also recently reported, according to which WhatsApp will launch an update called Communities (or "communities" in Hebrew), and will allow people to connect separate groups under one umbrella and in a structure that suits them.
