During the International Congress of Liver Diseases held in London ten days ago, many experts deplored the insufficient knowledge of the risks associated with avoidable liver pathologies, in particular those related to lifestyle.

A diet that is too rich in sugars and fats and insufficient physical activity lead to an accumulation of fat in the liver, known as steatosis or NAFLD.

Nearly one in five French people would be affected, according to data from the Constance cohort (2020).

Most of the time, this fat is well tolerated, but in 20% of cases it induces inflammation causing the progressive destruction of liver cells, or fibrosis...
