Last week, the school's students went on the big holiday, even though they had spent many days at their home over the past year, which consistently included strikes and corona isolation.

Despite the liberating release to freedom, many students suffer from bullying and boycotts, which unfortunately remain the same even during the months of vacation.

In order to bring about the change for even one child, Maayan Adam spoke on 103fm with Shiri Königsberg-Levy, founder of the Sea of Friends group, an activist on social networks about bullying in the education system and winner of the title 'Teacher of the State', who spoke about her activities on the subject. .

"The great freedom began with the fact that I can tell you that in the last week I have been inundated with new messages," Königsberg-Levy noted at the beginning of the conversation.

"The biggest problem, we are constantly dealing with tomorrow and the boycott, the biggest problem is those who sit on the fence. The great freedom opens with great sadness for so many children, it's something new I deal with because I did not imagine I was going to receive such messages - messages about .

She further explained that "when you are in school it is no less difficult, but there are older people, and when you go on a summer trip who are the instructors? No one instructed them to conduct themselves in such situations, boys themselves what they know."

The phenomenon of loneliness in summer camps is only a small part of an even bigger and sadder phenomenon.

"The other thing that is not new that was also in the previous holiday, is the children who are 24/7 alone, who do not even have one friend. It is something that has lasted from the middle of the year, it is not something that started now. I say all the time - it depends on us parents. "The kids come back from a trip and we ask them how it was and here it ends, so nothing changes but if we go in a little bit, I do not say it's going to make a move - but it starts like this," the state teacher said.

"Trying to make the activities more frequent - it's saving lives"

She went on to describe how she and the "Sea of Friends" group, which she founded for this important purpose, are operating during the current summer: "We dictate that all activities be more frequent, if it is during the year Once a week then very much try to make it more frequent because we understand that it is about saving lives here.

"It's a little hard for parents to join this thing because there's something very hard to come up with and say 'my child has no friends', it's embarrassing, for a parent it's very hard, it's kind of coming out of the closet There, at least they are aware and trying, "she stressed, adding:" Yesterday my mother wrote, that her child joined the activity in Yavne, 'How are you? I'm writing you shaking with excitement, today was pizza night, now they met at our park near the house. "My son's going to look different, 'and that's exactly it."

In conclusion, Koenigsberg-Levy wished: "I wish a law would be enacted that would really deter the bullying and boycotting children, because when it comes to the parents' pocket there will be a change. If not from the heart, if we tried it and it did not work? There is nothing to do."
