Arrested just after the shooting Monday evening in Paris in a shisha bar near Bastille, a 16-year-old suspect was indicted and imprisoned on Saturday.
The police custody of the man suspected of shooting Monday evening was extended on Wednesday.
“The custody of the defendant has just been extended by the judge of freedoms and detention, for a new period of forty-eight hours maximum”, had specified the prosecution.
The teenager is being prosecuted as part of an open investigation for "murder in an organized gang, attempted murder in an organized gang, criminal conspiracy to commit a crime and acquisition and possession of a category A weapon".
A second suspect is still wanted.
