The Summer Mobility Plan 2022 kicks
off again this year
with initiatives and measures aimed at containing the possible inconveniences linked to the increase in
traffic
flows : this was announced by
Anas
(FS Italiane Group) and
Viabilità Italia
, including as always useful advice to motorists for travel to holiday resorts, complete with a calendar to report the days with peaks of movement on the roads.
RED STAMP WEEKEND
First weekend of heavy traffic, in particular Viabilità Italia provides a
red sticker
, in the first part of the day of
Saturday 23 July
and on
Sunday 24
(with a ban on transit for heavy vehicles in force from 16 to 22 tomorrow Friday 22 July, Saturday 23 from 8 to 16 and Sunday 24 from 7 to 22).
THE MOST TRAFFICATED HIGHWAY AND ROAD ARTERIES
In general for the 2022 summer mobility, the Anas reports, will involve the main tourist itineraries: the
A2
"Autostrada del Mediterraneo" which crosses Campania, Basilicata and Calabria;
state
roads 106 Jonica and 18 Tirrena Inferiore
in Calabria;
the
A19
Palermo-Catania and
A29
Palermo-Mazara del Vallo motorways in Sicily;
the
state road 131 Carlo Felice
in Sardinia;
the
state road 148 Pontina
nel Lazio, a particularly busy artery which together with the
SS7 Appia
ensures connections between Rome and the tourist resorts of lower Lazio;
the E45
Route
(SS675 and SS3 bis) which affects Umbria, Tuscany, Emilia Romagna and connects the north east with central Italy;
the
main roads SS1 Aurelia
(Lazio, Tuscany and Liguria),
SS16 Adriatica
(Puglia, Molise, Abruzzo, Emilia-Romagna and Veneto).
In the north, pay attention to the
RA13
and
RA14
motorway junctions in Friuli Venezia Giulia towards the border crossings, the
SS36
of Lake Como and Spluga in Lombardy, the
SS45
of Val Trebbia in Liguria, the
SS26
of the Valle D'Aosta and the
SS309
Romea between Emilia Romagna and Veneto and the
SS 51
of Alemagna in Veneto.
And as every year, in order to facilitate travel and reduce inconvenience to road users, Anas has already removed, starting from 8 July and until 4 September, over 500
construction sites
, more than half of those previously active. (over a thousand), "with the aim of offering a more comfortable and safer journey, not only for short and medium-range trips, but also for long-range ones".
It is also recalled that the reduction of Anas road construction sites is part of the Plan agreed and promoted by the Ministry of Sustainable Infrastructures and Mobility (Mims), in any case information on this specific topic can be consulted on the stradeanas.it website in the section Traffic info / Intervention plans.
Summer: off to the mobility plan, next weekend with a red sticker
