One of Apple's biggest projects that we hear about repeatedly since 2015 is its electric car project.
Wanting to speed up the project, the company recently hired the services of Luigi Tarborelli, who has worked for the last 20 years at the Italian car manufacturer Lamborghini - according to a report in the Bloomberg news agency.
Tarborelli led the development of Lamborghini's steering systems and the structure of the cars, and was responsible for particularly large projects - including the company's Huracan and Avantador models.
At Apple, according to the report, he will be responsible for the design of the electric car.
In fact, the executive from Lamborghini joins the list of engineers and managers recruited by Apple for the electric vehicle project, such as the head of Tesla's autopilot team, a former executive at Ford and the head of BMW's electric vehicle division, in addition to executives from Mercedes and Volvo.

And it seems that Apple wants to do to the automotive industry what it did to the cellular market - and recreate the moment.
Although the production will be done by external manufacturers, Apple intends to stick to its principles - and will be fully responsible for the hardware and software.
That is, the car, from the wheels to the operating system, will be identified with the company.
What is expected?
Estimates are that Apple aims to launch the car in about 3 years.
However, meeting the goal depends on the ambitious goal of completing the autonomous driving system, when at the same time Xiaomi and Huawei are also developing electric vehicles of their own production - something that will create great competition.
