Ann Hayes is in even more serious condition than it initially seemed, after she was involved in a serious car accident last Friday.
A representative of the American actress told the media in the United States that "At this point Anne is in a very serious condition. She has a significant lung injury that requires artificial respiration and burns that require surgical intervention. She is in a coma and has not regained consciousness since shortly after the accident."
Her family asked for prayers for her.
Hayesh was driving her car on a suburban street in Los Angeles on Friday afternoon and crashed into the garage of an apartment complex.
According to TMZ, bystanders tried to help Hayes out of the vehicle, but she backed up and continued speeding (see video below) until she crashed into another house, where her car burst into flames.
In Fox11's aerial video (see second video below), you can see that the vehicle crashed deep inside the building, with smoke billowing out.
Hayes was taken away on a stretcher while conscious by the Los Angeles Fire Department, and is hospitalized and on life support, according to TMZ.
The fire department told Deadline Hollywood that 59 firefighters battled the stubborn flames in the damaged building for over an hour, until they finally managed to put it out.

The 53-year-old Hayes gained recognition when she starred in the soap opera "Another World" between 1987 and 1991, which earned her an Emmy Award for daytime programming.
She became more mainstream in the late 1990s with roles in films such as Donnie Brasco, I Know What You Did Last Summer, Six Days, Seven Nights and Back to Malaysia.
She also starred on television in series such as "Men on Trees", "Equipped" and recently in the series "The Court!".
Soon she is expected to star alongside singer The Weeknd in The Idol, a new series from "Euphoria" creator Sam Levinson.
Haish was in a relationship with comedian Ellen DeGeneres from 1997 to 2000. Seven years later, she married actor James Tupper, who starred alongside her in "Men in Trees," and the two divorced in 2018.
