A new competitor in the Israeli TV market:

AM:PM entrepreneurs and the founders of WIX Presenters announced this morning (Wednesday) a new TV service on the Internet called click.tv.

The brand offers a free package that will include the linear channels (here 11, Keshet 12 and Reshet 13) and VOD content - provided you watch commercials.

This is a FAST model (linear digital video content services, free, based on advertisements) that is gaining popularity in the US and Europe. First, Click.TV is already available on TVs that support the Vidaa operating system (Hisense and Toshiba) without the need to download, and in the near future it will reach the smart TVs of The leading companies in the market.

How It Works?

On Click.TV, like on YouTube, an advertisement will appear before (and during) each program while viewing content on the VOD service only - without the need for a converter or media streams (streamer).

Guy Adri, one of the entrepreneurs, says that "in the US alone, over 140 million people, which constitute almost half of the population, consume multi-channel television for free through "Roku", "Picok" and "Pluto", and this number is expected to increase even more in the years the nearest

We built and created a smart and accessible platform that in every country we are in you will receive the local broadcasts, original content tailored to the audience and dozens of channels."

Content on demand

The ad-based platform (AVOD) is an economic model that allows the viewer to enjoy content on demand at no cost and without the need to rush, this is because the service is compensated by the advertising companies.

According to the entrepreneurs, Click.TV

already today offers thousands of hours of viewing purchased content alongside original content that it has produced and will continue to produce

.

However, the company is entering a particularly crowded market of streaming services - including Netflix, Disney Plus and Apple TV, alongside the Israeli television providers.

Also, the content is freely given - and without the need for registration.

In addition, by the end of the year Keshet 12 and Reshet 13 will join, along with more than 50 channels from around the world, with about 150 more channels coming soon.

Click.TV has already filmed and recorded over 500 hours of exclusive video and audio content and will continue to expand its library every day with broadcasts on diverse topics.

Vera Vox-Menchal, CEO of click.tv: "Our justification comes from the ability to provide diverse content as much as the viewers want it.

We are more flexible than corporations.

Viewers are used to paying even to see basic broadcast channels and this is simply not true.

Click.tv will not collect money from the viewers, because we intentionally provide advertisers with very convenient options to advertise because we are confident in our service and the huge amount of viewers we will reach." The

entrepreneurs of the new service are Avishai Abrahami and Nir Zohar (Wix), Guy Adri (Hisense, Toshiba , Vidaa) and his partners Gal and Ran Belinkis (founders of AM:PM), together with Zvika Hadar and a group of other entrepreneurs and businessmen.
