The investigators followed the activity of its specialists in the convoys of drugs which leave from Spain to Paris. A ton of resin

They are drug couriers who supplied the Ile-de-France in particular.

Five criminals, aged 28 to 60, were indicted on Sunday August 14 and Monday August 15 by an investigating judge from the interregional jurisdiction of Bordeaux (Gironde) for importing narcotics before being imprisoned.

They were arrested on August 11 in the Paris region with more than a ton of cannabis seized by investigators from the Limoges (Haute-Vienne) judicial police.

Justice accuses them of having organized "go fast" between the Iberian Peninsula, Île-de-France and the North.

The case begins in November 2021, when the police are interested in a resident of Limoges, a specialist in importing cannabis from Spain.

"He is described as a mercenary selling his services to traffickers," said a source close to the case.

After weeks of surveillance, the police understand that he rents his skills to Ile-de-France traffickers, in particular to drive an opener car during the ascent to Paris.

During the convoys, the drugs were concealed in a heavy weight.

The investigators of the central office for the fight against narcotics are in charge of the investigations on the Parisian team.

Surprised while unloading

And on Thursday, August 11, officials track the progress of the car and truck.

Arrived in the Paris region, the drugs are dispatched in other cars which were to deliver Parisian and northern dealers.

The police surprise the traffickers in flagrante delicto at the place of unloading.

Two suspects are arrested by the police officers of the research and intervention brigade, in the opening car.

Two others are arrested while unloading and the third, the driver of the truck, is also arrested.

The search of the truck yielded one ton and 47 kg of cannabis resin.

The five men were taken into police custody at the Limoges judicial police premises.

No information has filtered on their statements.
