The day of fun almost turned tragic for a young woman living in Tourcoing, in the North.
With her companion, Camille went on Sunday August 14 to Walibi, a famous amusement park located in Belgium and they decided to do the Vampire roller coaster.
Only, at the moment of the departure of the attraction, while the ground opens under their feet and that the car starts, she realizes that her harness is not attached, reports La Voix du Nord.

She explains that due to her husband's disability, they were installed last in the attraction.
And if “the verification had been done” on the side of her companion, Camille admits that no one came to check that her harness was properly engaged.
It was then "still completely up when the attraction started," she says.
The young woman then decides to jump from the wagon when it begins to set off.
“I arrived on the platform on which the next customers are waiting, the wagon passed just above my legs”, she describes to the newspaper.
The safety procedure would then have automatically engaged and the train was brought to a halt fifteen meters in the air.

The park recognizes an error
Camille then says she was left alone for 30 minutes before a park manager came to check on them and offered to eat for free.
After a medical examination which revealed "low blood pressure and a high heart rate", the manager suggested that he file a complaint internally.
What she decides to do but she also lodged a complaint at the Tourcoing police station.
Auscultated by her doctor, she was diagnosed with post-traumatic stress.
The management of the park interviewed by La Voix du Nord acknowledges that "for some unknown reason, the usual checks were not properly carried out".
The harness was not properly lowered.
The leaders nevertheless insist on the “immediate triggering of the emergency shutdown” in accordance with the procedures provided.
An internal investigation is underway.
