Some car buyers currently have to wait over a year for their new car.

Things don't look quite so bad for BMW models.

Here are the delivery times of the current models.

Munich – If it is true that anticipation is the greatest joy, then new car buyers are going through many happy months.

Because the lack of chips is still causing production bottlenecks* - and the production stops* caused by the Ukraine war in many car plants will soon have an impact on delivery times*.

Thanks to a forward-looking purchasing policy, BMW has so far had less trouble driving through the crisis*, if necessary, the equipment has been reduced in return for a corresponding price reduction*.

But in the meantime, the people of Munich have to come to terms with the current situation.

Delivery times at BMW: The X1 is available after just three months

In Munich and Dingolfing, however, production has been resumed, at Mini in Oxford, England, it should soon be that time again, and in Regensburg, Leipzig and the non-European locations, production is running anyway.
