Joey Richard uploaded a video to Tiktok that has gained about 100,000 views in which he reveals that an accessory that looks like a small key is hidden inside the remote.

Joey pulls the key from his car remote and uses it to remove part of the door handle, revealing a hole meant for the key.

A turn of the key in the slot - and the car opens.

In some cases and in some cars, as long as it is not a discharged battery, this key is also used to drive the vehicle if the push button does not work.

Joey explained that he was inspired by someone else online who had done it - and decided to try it himself.

It turns out that every car that has a push button drive has it, which is actually the vast majority of new cars.

There are differences between the types of cars, but all new vehicles have this feature.

There are also some that have a button on the remote that pulls out this accessory easily and allows you to start a vehicle in emergencies like this.

The reason for the vehicle not responding to the remote control could be a dead battery in the remote control itself, or a discharged battery in the vehicle that does not supply power to the central locking system.
